Babel's Ark
Synopsis
On June 23 and 24, 1940 in the Alps found on the border between France and Italy, various people are blocked off by the bombings while they attempt to flee from the three countries in conflict (Italy, Luxembourg and Poland). Finding refuge in a military defense fort run by French Alpine troups, they are forced to live together as they attempt to find and acceptable form of coexistence. In a tragicomic situation, where the tension continually grows (as an internal threat that no character had ever imagined adds to the suspense), eleven people, each one different from the other, find themselves experimenting and imagining an organization of life and survival similar to what will be the future European Community, fraught however with inescapable limits.
